Dan: There’s basically one Hedwig per film. Like, the last one was Gizmo, and now he’s been retired, and now we have Sprout playing Hedwig. Sprout’s Hedwig this time, but me and Gizmo had this thing going. We were cool. We were friends. And because Sprout was really a bit of a drama queen. He would kind of sit there, and when he wasn’t being used, you could look down, and he was going… He was kind of giving Gizmo the evil eye. He was a jealous owl.

I had kind of my Beatles moment, cause you know, I’m not going to have this fame forever.  This is going to be have something I have now, and then it’s going to be gone.  There’ll be some other new franchise and some other new guy, so you have to enjoy this stuff while it happens.  So, while I was in Japan once, and I was going around this school, as part of this TV show for this promotion I was doing, and I bumped into this girl in the corridor, and I said, “Oh I’m sorry,” and, boom! just fainted.  And that’s not going to be forever, so while I can make Japanese girls faint, I’m going to.
